“Subscribe To This Blog”.

But for those unaware that are curious, here’s a brief answer.

Subscribing to a blog allows you to be NOTIFIED, by email , when there are changes to that blog. Then you don’t have to re-visit a blog, and search around just to find out if there IS anything new or not. It, (the blog subscription), will tell you when there have be changes, usually new article posts.

And if you try subscribing to a blog, and decide that particular one is too busy for your style, you can always OPT-OUT at the bottom of any notice you receive about a blog change.

Doing work-at-home or online home-based business has been a growing hot trend, especially during our world recession. For many people this is an option for a lot of situations. Making money on line does not require you to be a computer genius. If you just want more income each month or you are in fear of losing your employment, this could be a great decision. In order to have a chance at doing a lucrative undertaking, you must understand that it will appear intimidating at first.

You hear about fraud, losing money failing at your attempts and these certainly can be a nerve-racking tension creators . BUT, anyone looking to work at home can expect to find big paychecks with the right training, time and patience, searching techniques, tools and any past skills you are likely to have attained in your life.

So where do you begin? There are a lot of programs available online. Use Google™ (for example) to search for online business opportunities. Experiment with search phrases. Try not to compare features or options based on how much money they say they can make. This is an inconclusive determination and can draw you into fraudulent areas or “scammers”. One good resource is the Scambusters. Check it out - Scambusters Free Newsletter. Scroll down their web page to a large box that will let you sign up with just a first name and email address. They will ward you away from evil-doers. Another good site is Truth or Fiction. I always check out email articles that sound way too good to be true or way too scary. Especially when the author says “Send this to all your friends” ! Find out the truth before you become a fool!

While searching, examine how safe each program appears. Do you need to pay an “unexplained” fee just to get you started? Never choose one that charges an upfront fee with without a clear and explicit reason. An organization of trustworthy business people will certainly be surrounded with great grammar and correct spelling. Spellcheckers and grammar checkers are included with most GOOD editors and those who don’t use them could spell trouble.

Next, determine how their business or program works. Focusing on marketing is often a great feature that you might consider as a trustworthy option for working at home. An audio resource or video resource is far more beneficial than reading a 20-60 page ebook (Electronic online digital book). Interestingly enough I bought a package of Ebooks to study. Most of them were pretty good. One in particular (don’t remember the name ) I deleted and burned it! The author was very “articulate” about proper word selection, spelling and grammar when developing a sales page, for example. YET, this very Ebook was FILLED-TO-THE-BRIM with violations of everything he told you not to do. This author was a hypocrite! So you WILL find some bad here and there and be prepared to accept that it IS out there. This will be part of your learning curve. Don’t be discouraged.

Especially, look for offers and opportunities that have a money back guarantee! Give them a try. Keep the stuff that raises your interest and excitement and return those that definitely were not what you thought they were. Check out some of the links on the right side of my blog for starters. On-the-way you will undoubtedly discover (or trip over) even better ideas, or your subconscious will trigger you to use “other words (keywords) to search on the internet for more great opportunities. Check out a lot of Blogs (a contraction of the term “Web log”).

Many of the recommended sites, and cool links will lead you to bigger and better opportunities. It may not always be a particular niche that peaks your interest, but it will be all the great stuff you will DISCOVER along the way. Search for particular newsletters or forums and take leads from “them”.

Being successful on the internet will require knowledge and tools. There are TONS of both out there that can do your work for you. Look forward to building lots of “little” niches and automated product streams that “collectively help you find your way to peace and prosperity $$$$$.

Watch out for the “get-to-be-a-millionaire-in-a-few-days” opportunities. If it’s “too-good-to-be-true”, it probably is, or you will discover a lot more questions that need answer (solutions).

So get out there and TAKE ACTION!

Skin Care – a lucrative but “sensative area, especially for aging Baby Boomers. The “Boomers” will represent a significant population for many years. So WHAT IS the best products or services to get for solving (Solutions for) aging skin care?

OK! Lets look at cosmetic surgeons. They will, undoubtly, suggest treatments that THEY OFFER ! And different surgeons will suggest same, similar or DIFFERENT treatments. Remember, these surgical centers are professionals in the business of making $$$$$ ! So you could ask dermatologists about recommendations and THEIR opinions. But they are professsionals too and you’re back to square one!

All of them will likely want to sell you something called Botox injections since the cost is low (to THEM). Your average coasts will vary a LOT! It is likely that you will pay about $500/injection. Typically. Now the interesting part! You need at least 2, one for each eye, AND, if you decide that this is the right treatment for you, under NO circumstances should you cost shop, (looking for the cheapest available).

You get what you pay for (heard that before?) Several suppliers were caught using illegal, black-market Botox. Many severe cases of botulism poisoning were traced back to suppliers using this black-market stuff.

Several articles have been written about a Dr. Nicholas Perricone about “his” recommended skin care for aging; he will have several recommendations. Dr. Nicholas Perricone’s dietary recommendations are great sound advice for anyone. Eating lots fresh vegetables and fresh fish seems to be the healthiest diet around. But, his line of skincare products, are not without concern or fault.

Dr. Nicholas Perricone’s products include base creams that most cosmetic companies also highly recommend. Primarily, they are petrolatum and mineral oil. Neither of those is good for your skin’s health. They are

Primarily, they are petrolatum and mineral oil, neither of which is good for your skin’s health. They are not absorbed into the skin’s layers and they cause greasiness. They don’t absorb into the skin’s layers while at the same time cause greasiness. These products also contain parabens and other artificial preservatives. The scientific community for skin care is learning more and more about how artificial preservatives negatively affect our health. It should have been obvious, all along, since they are the most common cause of allergic reactions.

Some scientific researchers will tell you what would be the best skin care for aging and what effective ingredients to look for. Creams containing coenzyme Q10 have been shown to repair sun damage, reduce roughness and reduce wrinkling. Products containing bio-active keratin have been shown to increase moisture content, increase firmness and reduce inflammation.

Products containing wakame kelp have been shown to inhibit enzymatic activity that breaks down the important compound called hyaluronic acid. The skin’s firmness relies on such ingredients as collagen and elastin. Other algae extracts are useful for stimulating skin cell production. Avocado extract has been shown to improve the amounts of soluble collagen.

Scientific evidence is supporting the use of nutrient-rich creams. If you want to know what is the best skin care for aging, that’s it.

Of course, eating more fish is the approach is always the most effective. Research shows that after three months, more omega-3 intake increases the skin’s firmness by about 10%.

Rather than a scrub or exfoliates, you should use a mild gentle cleanser. These may have worked for you before, but scrubs are more likely to do damage, as you get older.

Now that you are highly informed with this information, another answer to “what is the best skin care for aging” remove makeup before going to bed and use a cream that was specifically designed for use at night.

If you’d like to learn more about little known but clinically tested natural ingredients that are used for treating aging skin, visit this website today.

Well, on a much earlier post, one of my 1st few I believe, I mentioned about all the hardware woes I encountered. Well all is pretty much well now. The Toshiba Laptop took over 5 weeks for Best Buy to get repaired and returned to me. It seems their repair center(s) were very, very busy. They ended up replacing almost all the hardware except the keyboard. FORTUNATELY, I had a repair contract which, in fact saved me oodles of money $$$$. I’ll likely be extending it again at renewal time. A lot more expensive for a 2nd renewal, but if anything like this ever happens again, it will be WELL SPENT insurance. I also had them update the hard drive to a 500GB version; triple what I had before.

I wanted to upgrade to 4Gb Ram. Nothing that Best Buy had available would work. The Toshiba support gave me a lot of conflicting answers depending upon who I talked to at their tech support and what level of technical expertise I was assigned. I was looking for viable SOLUTIONS. Afterall, that’s what I want to base my business on. SOLUTIONS! As it turns out, the BEST solution is to contact your nearest TOSHIBA REPAIR CENTER and work with them to get it to happen. That’s the only RELIABLE way to go. They have the facilities, tools and expertise to do just about any upgrade. There’s one about 50 miles from me, but I have yet to find the time to call and get there.

Speaking of RAM, rumor from several tech support personnel tells me that Windows XP will not use much more than about 3GB to 3.5 GB. BUT you can’t put just 3.5 GB. I have 2 RAM slots and will need 2GB Rams. Guess I’ll get to that later.

For many years I had been hearing that many people -and I mean common fellows not gurus- were making a lot of money on the internet by way of marketing online.

When I finally decided to take a shot at this internet business thing, I really got and remained lost for quite a while and I almost abandoned the quest to make money online, because everywhere turned I got scammed by some website offering to make me rich by the end of the week.

It is obvious to me now that such offerings are the classic signal that we are before a con artist, but at that time I had no idea where to start, so everything sounded great to me until I really got my firsts tastes of tough internet business reality.

After many failed attempts and harsh experiences, I think I am in the position to tell you how and where to start, and what to do in order to make money online.

First, I will tell you that probably the best place to start is affiliate marketing, because in this field you will need a very small initial investment and your internet business expenses will be near zero, plus once you have developed your business structure you will be able to benefit more and more from the power of automation allowed by the internet.

Second, I must tell you that the only way to realistically start making money from affiliate marketing is by getting access to education and business oriented tools. This does not mean that you have to go to college and study during a three year period in order to start working on your business development.

No, you do not have to go through that, because you see, the remarkable thing about affiliate marketing is that it is not quantum physics, it is far simpler than you think, but as much as it might be simple it will demand that you set you mind to learning mode and put your brain power at the disposal of your personal development for a few weeks.

However, after a week or two into a good learning resource I can assure you will start seeing results, no matter if you have not ever done anything internet related. Believe me, this is how I started and I have managed to become a near expert in the field in less than 6 months and affiliate marketing is today my main source of income.

Of course, I started seeing these results only after I landed on the right places to find actual internet business education and the necessary tools and resources to build and run a successful affiliate marketing operation.

So it is perfectly possible for you to start a profitable internet business based on affiliate marketing, but honestly, if you really want to make money you have to forget about easy money and start thinking about learning and working hard at least in you early stages.

If you are interested in honest and reliable educational resources and business oriented tools to help you get a solid start within affiliate marketing and other online business opportunities visit this site

There are few people that actually meet all of the most important requirements to help you, when it comes to you making money on the net. In order to assess your potential partners or mentors, you should insist that they pass these three simple tests. Every email that flies into your inbox, and every website you look at, represents a potentially great business partner. Unfortunately, in practice, the opposite is more common.

So how do you know what criteria to use when you must make a decision about who to work with online? I am going to show you three (3) quick things you can look for to judge the suitability of any online business partner you may choose after today.

1. Did the person send you an unsolicited email out of the blue? Professional marketers of integrity do NOT send unsolicited emails. I make it a habit not to open or read unsolicited emails that I get. I dislike spam with a passion, and it annoys me greatly. If you feel the same way, it is unlikely that you will be making money on the net with any person who sends you spam. You will always have doubts about the person’s integrity.

2. What else do you know about the person that you should know? Can you find him or her online? These days when I meet new people, I quickly check them out on Google. That usually gives me an idea of what they have been doing. Most employers do the same for new hires. You should do the same for potential business partners online, especially if they want to sell you a big ticket business opportunity.

3. Does the person have personal photographs to go with his high-priced product? If I am selling something that requires any semblance of personal trust, then it stands to reason that I should let you know who I am. That is why I have my pictures on most of my websites, including article sites. It makes for a better impression to do so. Making money on the net by selling products will be more lucrative when you leave no doubt about your integrity in the eyes of your customers.

So the next time you are looking for an online business to get involved in, you should check out these persons using the above three acid tests. Is the person a spammer? Did the person show you what he or she looks like? Does the person have a bad reputation online? Making money on the net would be so much simpler if we held every marketer by these three minimum integrity tests.

Are you tired of failing online? You can change that right now if you really want to. Anthony has a great lens review of an amazing system that will guarantee you dozens of blueprints you can apply now to create your own online empire.

Lately I noticed that when I was editing text-edit windows WITHIN a non-text window, the editing process had intermittent jumpy scroll bar characteristics. In other words, as I added text, after I went past the lower border a scroll bar would appear on the right side of the text editor box. This is nothing new to most computer users. BUT, as I added more text and the scroll bar moved, sometimes when I hesitated my writing, or added a RETURN to start another paragraph, the scroll bar seemed to have a mind of it’s own and move back near the top of where my text began.

Continuing to type would cause the scroll bar to “jump” back down to the line I was editing which appeared as the very last line at the bottom of the text box boarder. I HATE being forced to type at the very bottom of most any window. I usually add several returns and then move my cursor up so that my “text editing work” was in the middle of the grand scheme.

Also, I noticed, that while editing html code within the Word Press Admin area of my blog, any of the code editor windows would be shoved all the way down the bottom of my screen, with a divided window that filled most of the bottom of my screen, and a scroll bar in the “middle” of this text editor window. This forced the text editing area to be HALF as wide as normal and very annoying.

SOLUTION (that’s what this blog is about)

I had recently upgraded my Windows IE to version 8.0… On the bar that has your “Favorites” at the left side, way over to the right there is a “Page” pull down selection menu. CLICK the COMPATIBILITY VIEW selection and close the pull down (click anywhere else on the screen). All my jumpy text editor windows STOPPED jumping, my Wordpress html editor window restored to its normal location as when it was installed and also stopped jumping.

Compatibility mode lets the NEW Window IE Version 8 and higher to read the “older” web views to appear like they did before Microsoft updated the IE. Supposedly, the new Internet Explorer is supposed to have “enhanced” viewing opportunities. What, I am not yet sure, but be aware of the existance of the Compatibility mode selection.

Also on the “Page” pulld is a selection for “Compatibility Settings”. Selecting this will open anoter dialog window to let you change more settings; like setting ALL pages to compatible mode and so forth.

As our recession continues, I have seen more companies closing down, going out of business or moving to less expensive locations. While this is becoming a common event lately, there is another surprising aspect of all this.

Health-based stores such as whole food grocery stores, health supplement supply stores and so forth, are replacing many of these vacant store locations. Is the Baby Boomer age gearing up with a higher demand of life prolonging foods and supplies? Maybe the new generations of teenagers are stressing a need for better-shaped bodies.

However, it is a foregone conclusion that many of these new health stores may be surviving or profiting well from this recession. I am not entirely sure but the market for health products should catch all our eyes as an opportunity for more demand of say, digital information related to health?

I believe this trend is something we should all consider. At any rate … the Healthy Age, is, growing stronger!

This is my third post. I finally ordered parts on the internet to get my primary PC, called the Beast, repaired to correct suspected hardware problems. Since I kept getting memory error messages from windows XP, I decided to go ahead and replace all 3 GB of my DDR memory. A memory error could be related to either physical memory or virtual memory, which is usually stored on a hard disk drive. This would eliminate the physical memory as a problem source.

While inside the PC, I also “realized” that my power supply was rather wimpy for what it was actually doing. I have 10 hard disk drives, 2 CD/DVD drives and 1 floppy drive powered by this measly 350-watt supply. There were also nine fans used for cooling and airflow for a variety of other hardware devices also installed. I immediately obtained a 750-watt power supply, more than double the capacity of my current supply. However, this new power supply was more advanced than my current supply. It had many extra ports for powering advanced busses and peripherals that I did not have.

During the installation, I literally took out ALL of the PC cards, video board and one of my 6-drive cages. After installing the new power supply, I realized that the NEW 750 W version had LESS 5/15 volt receptacle connectors for the IO peripheral stuff, disks, floppies, fans and so forth than did the original 350 watt power supply. How odd ??

Therefore, what started as a simple project has progressed to some major surgery. Since I am in here, I might as well upgrade some of my old 120 GB drives up to 500 GB drives. Adding more SATA drives would require alternate interface hardware and busses that my motherboard did not use. So back to the manufacturing line I must go. That is enough for now.
