My 1st Post
My first post is about the John Thornhill Marketing Masterclass. It has been a very, very interesting class to follow. It uses systematic videos and I must say they are very EASY to follow. This method allows the student (me) to work at my own pace. The videos also allow me to pause, backup the cursor and replay segments that I may not have seen or heard clearly. John has quit an interesting accent. A few of the words he pronounces are difficult for us boring Americans.
Anyway, this is a fantastic class. I am glad the pace is personal since my laptop and main PC both broke down just after starting this class. NO, I am sure the class is NOT the reason, just a bad coincidence. I have to “share” my wife’s computer and work at times when she is NOT using it. At the same time I am working to restore my main PC (hardware and software problems) while my laptop is out for repair (LCD screen cracked). Therefore, I have worked to keep going as best as I can.
We have obtained a personal domain name which you are currently using to read this blog; www.markhimes.com. We have signed up for hosting through D9 Hosting, started building a blog using WordPress and much more. I have added a few categories to my blog and added some links. In setting up the blog, John showed us several key settings to configure to make our blog work more efficiently. I am supposed to add several posts, some new categories and more.
Since grammar and spelling are of considerable importance, I have decided to use my Office Word 2007. This has given me the opportunity to get more familiar with the Office 2007 ™ products I have only recently acquired.
Overall, I am pleased with this class so far even though I am only on weeks 2 and 3 of at least 36. I would recommend this to anyone wishing to get started in an online business.
That is all for now.

Hi Mark,
Considering you have had bad luck with your PC and Laptop, you have still managed to keep up with the work, well done, and wishing you success.
